    What's going on?  Clocks went forward and supposedly give us an extra hour of daylight in the evening.  So please explain why we have the lights on at just after 5pm!

    @B3 as far as l know they are stamped at the same time as the "sow by" date.

    As with anything else B3 some suppliers are "premium" and have prices to match even for bog standard plants.  Others price according to how special/rare/difficult the plant is to grow, acquire or get seeds.   Some do special treatments on their seeds and those processes cost extra but help with germination.

    You pays your money and takes your pick.

    So the price of  a branded packet of high-end seeds would be the same wherever you bought them?

    Some well known seed companies charge more for seeds because they can, they think people will go for theirs because of their name.   I only ever buy mine in plain little bags for 99p usually post free and buy 5 get one free.

    if they can stick the word " organic " on it, they hike the price too.

    If you grow a plant from non organic seed and don't use chemicals etc to grow it, is the plant organic or not? Just curious, not purist
