No, plug plants from Sutton’s, I think. There is also a very nice subdued terracotta colour which we have in the hay basket at the front of the house. It is yet to fill out fully but here it is right now.
@Fire I’ve just discovered some seed pods on my petunia, so mystery solved. They are quite small and not all the flowers are producing them. Can send some seed later in the season if you want some.
Plants are from F1 seed. So will not come true next year. To get identical Petunia Tidal Red Velour maybe safer to buy fresh seed.
My experience has been one of collecting the seed for the last 3 years and they turn out exactly the same as every other year. I'm not seeing any deterioration in the form after 3 years so It appears to me as if they come as true as you can get from F1 seed.

@BenCotto -wow. That's amazing. I do wish I had planted some this year or got hold of some plants. Ho hum. I planted some Easy Wave but it's not the same and they are barely trailing at all, even with feeding. I also wishs I had planted some dark red cosmos, but this has not been a seeding year for me.
How about this then. I left a summer hanging basket in the green house over winter which still had Petunia Tidal Red Velour alive in it and it sprouted into growth so I took 4 cuttings a week ago and put them in a pot with a plastic bag over them and put them under my grow lights with my other sowings for this year and look what's happened already. Tough little bu**gers aren't they!
I've removed the flowers now as I want to promote root growth so I can pot these on as soon as they have established a good root system.
