Missed you @rowlandscastle444. I was awake at 3am, 2am UK time. Toothache, except the tooth isn't there anymore. Took painkillers and eventually slept. Now in pain again.

    Ouch, @Busy-Lizzie
I know what toothpain and mouth pain are like. It distracts you from everything else!! Paracetamol are never good enough!!

    I am perplexed!
Hubby away so bed to myself. Went a bit earlier with a hot water bottle,  and read ( my usual routine) until sleepy. Stretched out, bliss. But no still awake an hour later, sheesh.
I now cannot blame being squished, made too hot, or his heavy breathing keeping me awake🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️
  • That's funny (or not) - my wife makes the same comments about me. I've been known to roll over and effectively push her out, as well as rotate 90°, to sleep across the bed.
Nowadays, I mainly breathe heavily (not her words) or hog the duvet. Or moan. Or toss and turn. Or all of them (her words).

The only times she disturbs me is when she can't actually hear me making a noise - which is when she shakes me, just to see if I'm still alive.😳

I have been known to gently poke the hubby if he is too quiet. 😆 My problem is getting into bed as he has a tendency to sleep with legs on my side, good job I'm short!

I’m sleeping a lot better, which I think is down to having less pain from hip bursitis. It was very hard to get comfortable on my preferred sleeping side so I’d get woken every few hours and have to turn over. The other thing that keeps me awake is negative thoughts. Nothing domestically worrying me right now, but I really have to censor any reading of the news, and definitely not watching it. I’ve woken in tears over some report from years ago that has got seared into my memory, so I do take steps to avoid that repeating itself.
  • I'm glad at least one person is making advances in their sleep, @Ergates

The sound of really heavy rain woke me and triggered all sorts of anxious thoughts… hardly surprising given last weekend. but I really could do without it  🙄

Thank you @coccinella 😊 … I think I’ll make a warm drink … would you like me to make one for you too …?
