Then we mustn’t complain about those who do.
If our taxes pay them, I feel we're entitled to criticise / praise them as appropriate.

Hmm we differ there Hosta ... can’t think of many more worthwhile struggles than to attempt to bring an equable and humane order to chaos.
The problem we have at the moment is that the acceptability of grasping selfishness that permeated politics and society via Thatcherism and the ignorance and naivety of Blairism, resulting in the mass cynicism of the electorate, is likely to get worse before it gets better.

But we can rest assured that whatever happens it will never be as bad as what a lot of us were brought up in,  we had literally nothing, no houses or food.
we survived, unfortunately the later generation who have it all can never relate to that.
of course we don’t want to see that again, and we never will, but most of us have what we need, look at our lovely houses,  money to buy furniture, new plants when we fancy.
yes, a lot of people homeless,   If all of us took in one homeless person, none would be homeless,  we would rather blame politicians local councils anyone else but ourselves.

Dont get me started,   I’ll get me coat.

Nearly 5000 people sleep rough in the UK every night, and that is double the number in 2010.
So it is a real problem.

over 300,000 people in the UK are homeless.
Almost 500,000 food bank parcels for children were given by just one food bank charity last year
