Went to the supermarket with OH this morning, don't usually go on a Sunday, but he does (to get shopping for his parents). Got through the door to find a large circle of people getting in everyone's way. Apparently they are a walking group who meet there every week, and he told me there are usually even more of them. As far as l could see they hadn't bought anything (or at least not very much), they just stood there getting in the way. What was wrong with the coffee shop where they could sit down and sort things out, or a corner of the car park?  They were all old enough to know better, and probably complain about groups of young people hanging around blocking pavements. Sorry, but the lack of consideration made me fume. Trust me, if l was in there every week, l'd be having a word!

We have a Sainsbury's superstore near us. I think people go there at weekends for a day out. They wander about aimlessly and their children get under your feet . 😠

I don't have a middle name and I would really like one. Almost everyone I know has at least one! When I changed my name back a few years ago to my birth name, I seriously considered going the whole hog and changing my first name as well, or at least adding a middle name. And forget all that talk about 'you can call yourself anything you like' - these days it all has to be done by lawyers and you need the proper paperwork for the bank etc to accept that you are going back to your maiden name. Such a kerfuffle.

Ah, people getting in the way!!!!!!!  In town yesterday and there were groups of people everywhere with heads buried in smartphones and tablets.  Seems there's some Pokemon search going on again.  They need to get a life.
Add to the list groups of people who decide the best place to stand and talk is either just outside or just inside a shop entrance.  Don't get me started on the old biddies with their shopping bags on wheels which they use as battering rams or mobile trip hazards!

I’ve got one of those and very useful it is too ... for all sorts of purposes 😉

Escalators and stairs.  Why do people think it's OK to stop and natter or dither at the tops or bottoms of these?  Usually I just say Excuse me very loudly but if it's been a wearing day I just go past with my elbows out.

To be fair,  Pokemon hunting has been one of the best inventions for years.
the children have never walked so far.
they ask my grandson if he wants a walk around Eden project, he turns his nose up, how about taking the phone and going Pokemon hunting, he can’t get out quick enough.

I didn't have any trouble when I notified companies that I was just using my middle name, or the Registrar when I got married again. As far as I know (and I used to be a lawyer) it is still perfectly legal to call yourself what you like as long as there is no intention to defraud.

I changed my name back to my birth name some 15 years after my divorce so I did it by Deed Poll online at the Government website. At the same time I added in an extra forename. It was all very simple and straightforward and I felt it was surprisingly cheap,      (but I can’t remember how much).
I got several Certified copies so I could send them out to banks, solicitors etc and sent ins to the solicitor to place with my Will in case of confusion in the future.
I’ve not had any problems  :)
