The conducutor Herbert Von Karajan gave one of his daughter the names of every member of his orchestra as middle names.

We're struggling with baby names for Accident #2. With the first one my wife gave one suggestion and it was perfect but we're clueless with this one.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

Does it have to be Welsh?   Does it have to be meaningful?  A sound and rhythm you like?   Sorting those priorities may help narrow it down.

My uncle only used his middle name if it was a legal requirement. ......His middle name was unexpected.  I think he was.

My youngest great-uncle had the middle name "Last".  Fulfilled wishful thinking on his parents' part...

I'm an Elizabeth but in my teens, desperately wanted to spell it with a 's' instead of a 'z' so I could become a Lisa instead of a Lizzie. My mother's family always called me 'Bibba'. Worst case scenario was I suppose Beth - I'm definitely not a Beth type so I'm grateful for small mercies.  My daughter actually changed both names by deed poll as soon as she was 18 - but didn't tell us. We're still trying to work out why!

She either wanted something more ordinary or something more special.   David Bowie's son Zowie changed his name to Duncan.  I can see why he'd not want to be Zowie but don't get Duncan.

It's funny how some people like their names and others loathe them.  I've always hated my middle name despite it being my Grandad's name and him being a lovely bloke. My nephew is David and hates it being shortened to Dave.  He's only just accepting that he's lost the battle with his fiance because her little nephew calls him 'Dade'.

Hate my middle name Irene.  Firstborn is a teacher and one year had a Lasagne and a Ravioli in her class, I kid you not. I worked for Peter Edward Alan Green and my friend worked for Rupert Bear.
