    I used to live near to JL, her son went to the local school for awhile, I was friends with her parents, lovley people, so is she.

    I took to her when she was in a programme where she was abandoned in an island or some such and fashioned her bra into a pair of sandals.I

    I love Johanna Lumley and  almost met her once. I was chatting to her husband, Stephen Barlow, the conductor, at an after performance reception after he conducted Dvorak's Rusalka. We were almost elbow to elbow, but she was talking to the person behind me.

    I like JL various travel programmes

    She has that effect on my OH as well, which should make me curmudgeonly,  trouble is, l like her too!
