You say you ordered "mid December" and hoped they would arrive before Xmas. Forgive me but that seems a tad optimistic. When you ordered what was the expected delivery date?
I can't be arsed to answer the same question over again. I refer you to my answer to 'Dovefromabove' on page 2. She had the grace to apologise once she had read my explanation.

Your attitude stinks.
And, if you're expecting an apology from me you'll be waiting a long time...
Why don't you read the postings before you post your smartarse question? Don't worry Del, I don't expect anything from you.
Oh Nutcutlet, that is my last word. I'll leave it to others now.

Sorry did I misinterpret it? It started 'My apologies...' and it didn't sound sarcastic. What are you saying I've not seen that I should have seen? That's a genuine, polite question. My turn to apologise if I've misinterpreted something.

I think this was the email offer. This one was sent to me on Thursday 20th so they were cutting it very fine to post and have it delivered by Xmas. I'm really curious what 'guaranteed' actually means. I imagine there's a small print somewhere that covers it. OP doesn't seem to know if it was never posted, lost in the post or stolen from his doorstep which is sadly very unhelpful.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

You only saw the apology ... not my point that you had initially omitted the information that the advert had promised delivery by Christmas ... had you included that info earlier we wouldn’t have been incredulous that you’d expected delivery by then.

Ah! That was what you were referring to. Yes of course delivery was promised by Christmas and that was disappointing when it didn't turn up, but...…
the main disappointment was that it didn't turn up at all and that they didn't seem to know what had happened to it - 3 times. Anyway your apology was very welcome.

You are an extremely obtuse individual. Let's take each of those points in your sentence above. "OP doesn't seem to know.." 1) ...if it was never posted - correct, neither does T&M. If they don't know, how the hell am I supposed to know? 2) ...lost in the post - correct. If T&M don't know if/when it was posted, if it ever was, how the hell am I supposed to know if it was lost in the post? 3) ..or stolen from his doorstep - correct. It would not have been left on the doorstep because either a neighbour would have taken it, or it would have been left in my shed through my side gate (standard instructions left for all deliveries when ordering). However, let's just say it had been stolen from my doorstep. How would I know? Unless I saw the thief in the act or one of my neighbours did.
So I share your sorrow at how unhelpful it has been to you, that I don't know what the fate of my order was. Clairvoyancy is not one of my many humble talents I'm afraid.
However I have cancelled my email subscription to T&M so I will not be receiving emails from them or ordering any more from them - ie I have moved on. Time you did.

Time to change threads and attitude I think.
