@AuntyRach what beautiful colours in your garden, I am envious of them, nothing looks that good here. Most of the leaves have already been blown off our trees and shrubs, and those that are still hanging on are a sodden mass of dullness.
Thanks @Guernsey Donkey2. I often feel that my garden goes a bit flat in early Autumn but the Acers bring it back to life, plus there are berries and and the glowing yellow of Hostas etc dying back. My Mahonia is the best it’s ever been this year.
Still some wonderful colours in the garden: Azure Rush is getting even bluer, chocolate cosmos is even darker and the penstemons don’t seem to mind the cold weather at all.
