    Lovely pics.
I love the Autumn Hostas too - they glow like embers in my fading garden.
My garden and I live in South Wales.
  • @AuntyRach what beautiful colours in your garden, I am envious of them, nothing looks that good here. Most of the leaves have already been blown off our trees and shrubs, and those that are still hanging on are a sodden mass of dullness.

Thanks @Guernsey Donkey2. I often feel that my garden goes a bit flat in early Autumn but the Acers bring it back to life, plus there are berries and and the glowing yellow of Hostas etc dying back. My Mahonia is the best it’s ever been this year.

The last of my autumn colours...
  • Do you know what the name of the Salvia is in your last picture pitter patter? Such a lovely colour.
  • Hi, @Chrissy the gardener. The salvia is Amethyst Lips.
