My Chrysanthemums were the same @Big Blue Sky when I planted them in my garden , so now with new plants, once they have flowered I dead head them carefully, then I transfer the plants into much bigger pots with plenty of garden compost and a good mix of sand and grit, feed and water from about August onwards and am rewarded with these.
The ones you see in my photo are many years old, I strike cuttings each spring and you can see the result, I was a chrysanth exhibitor for many years, now just grow patio mums, and enjoy them, Guernsey Donkey 2 yours look lovely and healthy, fine show. still suffering with a cold, as the is the wife so we comfort each other.
Some chrysanthemums are hardy and survive our winters, but many are not and succumb to the frosts.
Woottens usually have a good stock of hardy chrysanthemums ... although possibly not at this time of year. They’re a great nursery https://www.woottensplants.com/

Thank you, @AnniD. The label said salvia jamensis flammen, but there were other pots with the same label and darker flowers so I’m not completely sure. If somebody knows better, I would be grateful for a name.
