@LG_ That Cordyline in flower is quite a sight - pity we can't smell it!

Its leaves look very tatty in winter. Good in a wild garden and shady places but OH's Norfolk cottage garden was full of it, have to admit I dug up a load and replanted with other flowers. Kept some though.

Love that my herbaceous border runs alongside my purple beech hedge ... dramatic backdrop for all the vibrant colours... here are Lupins The Pages (which, bizarrely, weren’t attacked by bleeding lupin aphids; only the purple Masterpieces suffered)...
