    I have the clay soil @Perki , a part shaded area, but not so damp. Would need to do a bit of enriching too. Maybe I'll have a go.

    garden looks lovely @Dovefromabove, just my cup of tea, and very 'on-trend' judging by the amnount of natural style planting on show at chelsea last night!
