I would like to expand my range of shade plants, I like Epimediums,  have a couple, we have more shade than sunny garden bits here. You know how sometimes you don't get around to things.
And replace a Maianthemum I neglected and lost a few years ago. (Used to be called Smilancina) that is how long ago I lost it ) :D

And try out a couple of new things for some little troughs I planted last year.
Nothing grand, afraid they are plastic lightweight troughs and very small to cover an ugly drain cover. Loose theme of alpine plants.

My significant other half has given me a gift to buy what I would would like, 'cos we do not really do Christmas but.....
Found a nursery that has a range of Epimediums, and added a couple of "alpines" to make postage worthwhile.

    I am so excited !!!
Why does a gardening site spell check Epimediums and Maianthemum and Smilacina?

They sound good Rubytoo. Never tried Epimediums, we don't really have enough shade here, but they're really pretty.  Decided today that I'd really like some more Gaura's to go in my front garden.

I like Gauras too Lizzie, unfortunately the two I had so far I lost, I can improve soil, but think for a lot of things it is just too shady here.
Is that to replace your Escallonia Iveyii?
It is a lovely thing and I loved the scent, but we got a lot of black spot on ours so it went.

Rather stupidly getting two borderline hardy clematis, one will definitely need molly codling, but maybe small enough to overwinter in the blow away.
    A tiny hebe Boughton Dome.
    Daphne Kath Dryden.

Other half has just come into the room and said. We will have to send out a search party for the Gauras......
