    It went pitch black just after my last post, but remarkably it stayed dry.  Did some more clearing of weeds and grass from round the fruit trees. Also started to take apart an old pallet,  it's part rotten so only good for firewood.

    Yesterday’s sleet turned to snow and rather a lot but just above freezing so turned to slush , however , froze over night 
    Currently temperature just above freezing , so it’s started to melt again

    Started grey and dull with frost, but the sun broke through so not bad overall.  Stayed cold all day though.

    A nippy -17, clear skies. Had a lovely walk over the sea-ice today, to the island where I have my allotment. Was not expecting to make the walk already today, as the cold has set in only recently. For tomorrow: cloudy, slightly less cold.

    Wow, @Finnish_Fennel - minus 17!  Nippy indeed.   :)  I love Finland but have only ever been in the summer...

    Here in western Ireland we got up to 8 C today after a coldish start, warm enough to do some pruning.
    Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

    @Liriodendron Good luck with the pruning! I welcome the sharp cold; we didn't get any of that last winter. Starting next week the temperatures will be in the + again for us also... hope that's not keeping on for the rest of the season. Finnish winter without show and ice is double as dark as normal XD

    Lovely sunny day in Lincolnshire , could rise to 6 degrees mid day

    A dry bright day for a change,  I am in the midst of shed sorting,  just stopped for coffee!
