  • Very wet and windy here in Kent. So glad I'm not at the western end of the Isle of Wight. 96mph!!
We have a bucket catching drips in the conservatory, which takes the brunt of the weather from the SW. Always been a weak point there.

    I appreciate being indoors today.
  • My sister lives on the Isle of Wight, not far from the Needles.
They had rather a lot of weather yesterday!

    Cornwall.
Bright. Sunny. Lots of blue sky, after a torrential downpour 5 mins. ago. Am going to slosh around the Village Green in my hiking boots, with my short legged dog, so lots of towelling down before getting him in my car to come home. Hopefully before the next system hammers its way through. I face S.- SW. so take the full force of incoming storms, very exposed site, almost no protection or wind breaks.

  • False summer.  Clear blue skies, a gentle breeze, abundant sunshine, temperatures into the lower 70sF.

Metacomet soil with hints of Woodbridge and Pillsbury
