We've had some frosts followed by sunshine and warm afternoons in Dordogne, but this morning it was very grey, no frost. Sun coming out by lunchtime but feels colder, nip in the air.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
That is such a shame @BobTheGardener. It's been cold here, about 8c and with a chilly wind - back to wearing two fleeces! It is forecast to be better tomorrow.
Cool and dull here too, that wind is biting and only approx. 2 hours of sunshine here. Rain is due tomorrow - the soil is dry so it would be welcome tonight or tomorrow night.
Sunshine and clouds, windy with a sea mist. 8.3°c, wind ESE 26km/h, barometer 1021.4 falling, visibility 11km, soil temperature 9.2° at 20cm and 9.7° at 100cm, no rainfall in the last 24hrs.

A brisk easterly here too AnniD, in fact I would say virtually the same weather here as your post above. Nice out of the wind, but room for improvement although I would still like to see a good dose of rain too.
