    What a  day!
Very strong wind all day but sunny and warm.
Managed to get the washing dry thank goodness.

Cloudy and a moderate breeze from the south south west temp 11c feels like 8c
  • Yesterday I awoke to a heavy frost.  The rest of the week?  July-type temperatures.  It could reach nearly 80F by Friday, which is just ridiculous!  Next week temperatures will return to the norm, with mid 30sF at night and high 50sF during the day.

This is ours.  Deduct 3° for height so it’s feeling pretty wet, cold and miserable. The good part is that the reservoirs are filling nicely ready for the influx of tourists.

Rained hard overnight, dry with sunshine in morning, then clouded over with heavy rain by lunchtime which is forecast to continue for the rest of the day. High winds also forecasted for later and tomorrow.

Very wet and windy all day
    Extremely windy during the night.

More of the same today. It is pouring with rain and blowing a hooley.
    60/70 mph wind forecast.
  • The wind sounds like a freight train out there, but it's crazy warm despite that at 54F.  We haven't had precipitation in a few weeks, so hopefully once this warm spell is done we'll get some rain.

    Wow!
    Horizontal rain.
    Near horizontal trees etc.
    Torrential rain hammering down.
    Cold.
I would have needed lead lined boots to take the dog out today.
I have stayed away from the coast but there seems to be a lot of storm watchers out on the cliffs and coastline etc. watching the spectacle of Mother Nature doing her damnedest to remove Cornwall from the universe. Driving on the roads is like playing Russian Roulette.

Another day of rain, hail, wind and sun but some thunder thrown into today’s mix! No locusts though.
