  • The sun broke through around midday yesterday, but we were back to freezing fog by 6pm. Another grey frosty start today, but dry  so much better than a lot of other places.

Two mornings ago the temperature at breakfast time was minus 6.5.  This morning it was plus 6.5... but no more blue skies.  Drizzle forecast all day.

A nice winters day , the sun is out and yesterday’s icy wind has dropped
    Off to allotment shortly

    Have a good day everybody
  • Mild but rain in the night means everything is very wet now.  I want to get to Allotment but not sure how much I can do.

  • Same here AB.  It's good to see the lumps of clay I left on the surface after digging-up the spuds has been broken down nicely by the recent frosts and the heavy rain last night though.  Far too wet to work the soil but plenty of shredding to be done.
