Hiya F'edge, Chey, PP, PF, Sunny, Kitty and any more in the quiet corner. Hope everyone is coping with the manic season's preparations. If I've missed anyone - I apologise. Memory is not what it used to be!

What a bummer Lants . Is there another online supermarket that have delivery slots .
Glad that you got your meds Lants . I feel like a caged animal not being able to go out because of the weather. Yes I am grumpy too.

If not seen a reindeer up close but saw some donkeys up close a few years ago and stroked their fur.  They had come from a local Donkey Sanctuary to raise money.  They were surrounded by bales of hay.  A friend popped round today so it was good to catch up and she starts her chemo next Wednesday and hoping all will go well.  She's been very strong but had enough of being meddled with but said they had been very kind.  Wish I had a magic wand to make it all better.  Also had a market research man at the door all the way from Boston telling me I am beautiful and that my accent would be popular in Boston and he wasn't trying to encourage me to buy anything.  It made me smile though.  It's rained and blustered all day so definitely a day to stay in and watch a Christmas movie.  Wrapped up another Christmas present and fed the cats their treats.  I've brought some Scottish salmon kibbled around to Rubes for Rufus, Casper and Bruno to try and gave them a few to try which they seem to enjoy.

Rebecca. I am sending positive thoughts up for your friend. Its a bummer having to start chemo so near to Christmas but needs must. Its nice to have a friend who can just hold your hand and listen. What was the market research man asking about?

M-U, some of Mourinho's pay off would do you very nicely just now and he wouldn't miss it.
OC and Gordon Buchanan with Grizzly bear cubs so not a bad night of tv.
     I'm a fan of GB.
Rebecca, I hope your friend gets on well with her treatment.

LB the market research was re renewable energy and opposition to fracking and shale.   My friend was saying that she starts and has three series of chemo and then radiotherapy and said it won't be over until march/April next year so fingers very much crossed.

Apparently slot of market research in being done on these topics but he didn't ask me about my provider or anything like that.

    Interesting then Rebecca?
I've just finished my headband. This self striping wool is very clever for this pattern as it looks as if I've changed yarns each time a new colour appears. One ball weighing 50.g was enough to complete it so no joins Now I want to knit one of these new broad, long scarves that are 'on trend' (yuk!) right now.
