Have you finished your  tree LB?

I have Ruby and am waiting for it to go dark before I take a picture. Sorry to hear you have a sore throat.
Hazel - there is nothing quite like a little person to help you feel 'grounded'. A visit from 23 will be a real tonic.

How old is he now Hazel? Best wishes to you and your family 💐

    Joyce, I don't think I've ever had a LIGHT lunch  :p

Afternoon - fromt top o’ t’Yorkshire Moors. Lovely clear sunny day but bloomin’ cold. Had a wander round Rievaux Abbey earlier & I’m now waiting in the car while OH walks up a hill to take a low sun / sunset photograph of another hill. May have emptied the thermos by the time he gets back🤭

Nice day at the out-laws yesterday. Various members of the family stopped by throughout the day including great-nephew. He is ginormous... (really long - not fat!)  At 4 months old he is already in 9-12 mth old clothing and literally grows out of things within 3 weeks. He is already wearing most of his Christmas present clothes as he will be too big for them in a couple of weeks...

Mum is a very petite 5 footer and the medical staff have said they would be quite concerned at the rate this baby is growing if they hadn’t met dad. He’s well over 6’ 6” and baby has clearly inherited a lot of his genes. On the bright side he’ll come in handy for painting ceilings in a few years time!

Hazel - so sorry to hear of all your trials & tribulations. Hope you get some good news soon.

MU - bribery is the only way to get things done in our house.

Lants - hope you’vehad good day out.

Lots of idiots running over the hills in shorts and T-shirts right now. Must be an event. Why does anyone think that’s fun to do? Why?🤔

Good to hear from you T'Bird. Its bloomin' cold here too - not that I've been out - but I can tell by the temperature in the house. Your OH should get some good shots if it has stayed clear for him.

Keep warm T Bird . Our Yorkshire Moors are beautiful but can be very very cold .

Hi LB - yes it’s a lovely golden light now - and just the right amount of cloud to give some interest to the blue sky. He’s taking pictures of Roseberry Topping.

Enjoy your carolling Pansy - I love the ‘usual’ carols and some of these traditional but very local ones are definitely worth preserving. I even rather like ‘the dirge’ 😊
They were doing carol singing with a silver band at Rievaux this afternoon and it would have been lovely to join in. But it was too cold to hang around & I’d promised OH we’d get to a photo shoot location today.

Hazel, hope your dad gets home once he's been fully checked out.

Successful outing.  A tray of yellow primroses, a peace lily, one red and one white anthurium plus a pot with three blue hyacinths poking through.  I like to have plants in the porch over winter to give a bit of colour.
Chey, my light lunch was a small portion of macaroni, cheese and tomato. We brought cream cakes back to have with a coffee.
T'bird, glad the weather is being kind to you.
