I think we could just call it Curmudgeon's Corner.  Then we can blame it on anything we like.

Well - you have to build up all that tension and expectation, Anni . How would we know how to react otherwise?  ;)
I know how l react Fairygirl ! Last night l watched Strictly where Tess announced  the 2 couples in the dance off, then later l caught the result of the X factor (not sure how that happened, as l don't watch it!). Both times, as the dramatic pause lengthened, OH heard me shout "FGS, just GET ON WITH IT !".
He thought l was watching something about Br**it, but that's another story......

Bearing in mind how a significant number of curmudgeons understand the importance of detail, we also need to discuss where to put the apostrophe. Inside or outside?😵
(I've just found the emoji thing on my new tablet in case anyone is wondering why my posts are splattered with them. The novelty will wear off soon)

Or does it even need one at all? Is it just a corner full of curmudgeons who don't technically have ownership?
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

CCIBIOTH was originally my thread and I have bequeathed it to the nation. ( Do you have to be dead to bequeath? If so, I've donated it .)
Therefore it is owned, and we need an apostrophe.

Given the multiplicity of curmudgeons we appear to have on here, and not wanting anyone to feel excluded from the opportunity to give voice to their own curmudgionliness, I agree with the proposal that the apostrophe should follow the plural noun  ;)

Dark. Just blame EVERYTHING on the dark. Is there any proven link between lack of sunlight and curmudgeonliness? If not i'll be a test case.
