Curmugeons' Corner name update

B3B3 Posts: 27,505
It has been suggested by curmudgeonly members that it is no longer appropriate to blame it on the heat.
Here are some suggestions but feel free to add your own.

Blame it on the cold. I have one and more importantly the baby has one which means I can also blame it on the lack of sleep :(
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

    Blame it on the humbug
I blamed the humbug.  The neighbours are out decorating their houses, which means flashing lights from dusk until at least 11pm. This makes me curmudgeonly and Scrooge like.

I certainly can't blame it on the sunshine, or even the moonlight. Not seen a shred of either for some time

You missed out blame it on the (Central) Heat...ing.
You then have even more options as you can blame it on lack of, or other half turning it up/down.
Or lack of as the boiler has packed in. So many options :D
