Hubby did both his arms in, (tendonitus) plus it has hardly stopped raining since we took delivery of our summerhouse on the 19th November, he hasnt been able to coat with the special waterproof stuff, says you cannot do it if there is rain forcast in the next 48 hours, meant to have had 4 coats, its pressure treated, course soaking wet, he hasnt managed to get the guttering up.  Going round to our garage which is in the NEXT ROAD, people, you will remember me being VERY curmudgeonly about next doors brambles, well, they are almost covering our garage door, and there is another property inbetween them and our garage, thats how far they have spread, is there no end.   Unfortunately, because of his arms, he hasnt managed to finnish (their!) fence, I have membrane to attach to the gravel board top soil, and bulbs.

    Blame it on the humbug
When does the voting close @B3 ? Do you announce the winner with at least a 60 second pause before revealing it ? Because that makes me curmudgeonly as well.

Personally I'd stick with blaming it on the heat. For the sake of tradition, and also because it'll be summer again before we know it. In the meantime, over-active central heating can be irritating and I'm sure that for many of us random overheating incidents - external temperature notwithstanding - are not unusual...

Ha ha, you are right about that @LG_.
Is it me, or is it warm in here ? Followed by a chorus of  "lt's you ! "

Well - you have to build up all that tension and expectation, Anni . How would we know how to react otherwise?  ;)

  • Don’t mind who or what gets the blame ... as long as it’s not me  o:)

OH usually blames the blackbirds for things that happen here ... such as butter being found on the agapanthus !!!  ;)

I wish I could see a blackbird buttering the agapanthus Dove, it's not fair.
