Pansy - when I opened the kitchen door my initial reaction was that it was indeed a dead body lying in a heap. De-tangling the rug revealed nothing and yes LB, they did have innocent looks on their faces.

Confession time... At 7.45am the phone rang. Dashed to answer it and nearly did myself a mischief at the top of the stairs. The caller was from Microsoft... the computer I'm using has been hacked. Haven't used MS products for nearly 10 years now....😡 Nursing a very sore newly stubbed toe I'm afraid my sea faring ancestry kicked in and I told him in no uncertain terms to eff off.🤬 Not proud of it but it makes me furious that people are still trying this con to hack computers.

Well done T'Bird. Pity you cannot sue them for your poorly toe. My brother gets those calls and they are shocked when he tells them he hasn't got a computer. He does know its a scam but he plays along. They then ask does he have a laptop again he says no and they hang up. It is actually true of this brother - he's a Luddite and doesn't even have a mobile phone. He got an interesting letter from Malaga that he showed me yesterday - the equivalent of the ones we sometimes get in our inboxes telling us of monumental amounts of money we have been left in wills. He was told £8 million pounds! Tee hee. B****y chancers.
