  • Afternoon everyone, hope you're all well.
Three weeks down and three to go. We've had a very lazy day today recharging our batteries for tomorrow's full day at the hospital. OH has chemotherapy in the morning then radiotherapy in the afternoon. He's not too bad, but tired and has lots of mouth ulcers. So very soft food now.
Thank you for all thoughts and good wishes. xx

We don't ever want a smart meter either, sound a big con. I'm sure you could cancel Pansy.
LB. Do you have a friend who has a birthday this month? I have a few.....and always put a birthday and Christmas card in one envelope......saving postage and also have a spare envelope if needed.😉😉

Half way there with the treatment SGL. A long day for both of you tomorrow so hope it goes well.

Chap who owns an independent nursery might be coming tomorrow to prune the holly for his wreaths. Does it every two years. An arrangement suitable to us both.

...sco delivery has now to be put into fridge, freezer and cupboards.

What a cool and rainy day.  Had a sleep in as lay awake for quite a while and then felt quite wide wwake even though I'd pottered off to bed and was snuggling under the duvet.  The mind thought about getting up but the body didn't want to move.  Alfie and Ed seem to be eating quite a bit at the moment.  They always eat more in the winter but this is more than usual and they've loved their trial food.  I remember reading somewhere that cats never over eat, this can't be the case.  They're not overweight and with them being house cats they have a diet in line with that but just have bigger appetites and they have their Dreamies which they love.  Smart meters are seemingly having teething problems although they are in a rush to roll them out.   I have a water meter though and only pay what I've used but it has made me alot more aware of my usage.  Been watching some Christmas movies and snuggling away from the bad weather.

Hello SGL. Good to see you. Lets hope that the next three weeks appear to go as quickly as the last three seem to have done. I know it probably sees forever to you two though. Warmest wishes to you both. Thank you for the Christmas/Birthday card tip too x
Ruby - you snuckered in there. Warmest wishes to you and your OH too for this week.

I've recently got into  watching Talking Pictures -1940's black and white.  Really dated, but very entertaining with their clipped British accents.  Love looking at the clothes styles and my word, they are continually lighting up too.

You get some good films on Talking Picture. Ones with a beginning/a middle and an end that you can understand.
