I think that once you have got to 27 you can be as outrageous as you like and noone dare challenge you. Good innit?!

    Yay! Parcel has turned up😀

It came from Germany & was poorly addressed without the name of our village on it. Apparently there is an address in a neighbouring village almost the same as ours - very similar house name and identical road name. They receive regular deliveries from DPD and the busy driver looked at the address quickly and didn't realise it was for us and not his regular stop. She receives so many packages she just signed for it without looking at the name.

Driver did receive a phone call from the depot last night and he did go back to collect the package last night - but had no way to let me know it wouldn't be delivered until today.

He was very friendly and apologetic. So it was genuine mistakes - not fibs - and mistakes happen - and it's all sorted - so I'm a happy bunny again. Pretty good service after all. I will continue to rate DPD quite highly!

The parcel is a rather nice ear warmer / headband affair Christmas present from OH for me. Have just tried it on and now my hair looks a lot like Al's....🤣

I could have done with ear warmers when at the SM this morning. Brrrr. It was very busy and I waited in a long queue at the check out because I get in a fankle at the self service ones which were also busy.
The sun isn't going to make an appearance so will stay indoors for the rest of the day.

Poor you Hazel hope your rellies will be okay and your breathing improves soon.  Topbird I do hope you get your parcel soon it was from a well known River and the driver had put that the item had been delivered so I sent a message to say the item had not been delivered and received my parcel and hope you will too.  LB what a sweet video and hope it will encourage people to adopt a cat.   Hazel I've been trimming my own hair since my mobile hairdresser has made a mess of it.  I bought a trimmer kit with a spirit level centralised which you can move at angles which has been very useful.  Pansy hope you really enjoyed your carol singing sounds lovely.  SGL thinking of you and oh for the coming week.  My best wishes to you.  MU hope you continue to improve and can dump the tissues soon and have your oomph back too.
