Do you get in trouble if you send your kid to school as The Invisible Man and spend the  money you would have wasted on a costume bunking off to go to the zoo instead?
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

We approve @wild edges ... you have our permission.

Can  I put forward a novel  ;)  suggestion ... as it's about World Book Day and not World Dressing Up Day, spend the money on a book instead of a costume 📚

The thing is though that after a couple of years of world book day the schools could collect all the costumes and the kids could just pick ones to wear for the day. Have a repair and enhance class as required and kids can learn new skills as well.

This looks like something a Head of Year or Head of House would add to a Report, though it could be an excerpt from a full letter, Helen.

I vaguely remember that Farage's English teacher wrote to the school's headteacher expressing concern about F's racism and fascism.

Apparently, it is an excerpt from a letter:

Sadly, he remains "disgracefully cavalier".   His "gross failure of responsibility" doesn't much bother the populace, though, who have accepted that an ..."exception" like him can be "free of obligation" when that's what he wants!

    How true!

I have a dream that my.. children.. one day.. will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character
