    As for the presents, this year we have all decided to make donations to various charities instead, including my school-aged grand children; so, no problems with wrapping!  :)

    We trust that Someday soon, we all will be together, if the fates allow ...

    My daughter told me yesterday that the way to revive carrots is to put them in some cold water for a while.  I've tried it.  It works!

    @Danae(dan-Ah-ee) it works for celery, asparagus and Chinese leaves too. You just stand them in a glass of water. I didn't realise it worked for carrots. It looks like we'll be trying to revive vegetables more often in the next few months.
    I think the eejits who have panic- bought salad stuff will be disappointed.
