    I'm not stupid.

I've bought in bulk before they bring in a ban!

Yes, in more ways than one?

For the first time ever I saw a blue dragonfly in my garden!  I believe they live near water and as we've never had a pond in our gardens- because of our young children and, later, grandchildren- we've never had one.

I felt so emotional, really odd!  Almost embarrassed to admit it.

But, it was a thing of beauty.

  • Embarrassed?  Why?

Remember Keats's, "A thing of beauty is a joy for ever."
Beauty is such a special joy; it should move us, I think. <3

"A thing of beauty is a joy for ever."

I certainly agree with Danae and Keats.

Here is someone else moved by God's creation.  (Hopkins is one of my most loved poets.  I always go to him when I need to understand and/or long to be comforted.)

I love his poetry too; especially his Terrible Sonnets:"O the mind, mind has mountains..."
He seemed to have a very low opinion of himself but I think he was/is "Immortal Diamond".
