I hope so, the alternative is worrying. :)

Yes, we reputedly have a use for the full kitchen out there - vinegar, salt, chilli powder, mashed garlic and now gravy.
  • And there's been recent testimonials re the effectiveness of an old breadknife for dividing hostas .... kitchen garden indeed!

WUM maybe.  Certainly neither a gardener who cares for his soil or his plants and all the symbiosis that goes on between them to make a garden grow.  Not a cook either if his gravy is that greasy.   Yuk!

There are selective weedkillers for lawns but we also know now that weedkillers affect insect life form memory to coordination to navigation so the best free weedkiller is elbow grease with a hoe or a weeding trowel according to weed and location.

    How about blanc-mange?
  • @nutcutlet could use my late Ma's blancmange as a woodfiller before applying the white sauce ...

Would the green bits stay green or would they turn brown and look like the spider droppings I've just washed off?

I've had paints that are gel-like and lumpy in the past, I prefer something smoother

  • @nutcutlet  .... Blanch the parsley quickly in boiling water before adding to the sauce ... it'll stay greener longer  :)
