I bet it works out cheaper than gravy granules.

I trust you all realize if you use some expensive weed killer it will probably also kill the grass.
I think, as gardeners, most of us know what weedkiller does. :)
As a non gardener it may be new to you
How do I know you're not a gardener?

This thread is so funny 😂😂😂

I wonder... Should I be buttering up my brussel sprouts on the stem, to get a head start on Christmas dinner preparations? 😉

I'm sorry Gordon, couldn't resist a silly joke. I'd imagine it is the salt or grease thats killing the weeds, but there are better ways to get rid of weeds without using herbicides. I dig them out.
Welcome to the forum by the way 😊

I'm more worried what the gravy is doing to Gordon's insides if it kills weeds!

I I personally never have an excess of gravy but would love to know what made you think of pouring it onto weeds?

That occurred to me too ... my OH says that when I start putting gravy on the garden rather than the dinner he's going to take charge of things  ;)

No joke try it on Dandylions but no luck  with Marestail I think I will have to try a little Bleach

Don't put bleach on your garden ... it won't kill the Marestail but it will kill all the good micro organisms in the soil that a healthy soil and healthy plants depend on.

Looking back at your earlier posts, I see we advised you to find a way to improve the condition of your soil in order to improve the health of your roses ... bleach is not the way to do it.

IMHO anyone who considers using bleach on a garden should be living in a flat, ideally very high up.
