Let my joy be unbridled!! One of the storm drains is running into the lake ( it wasn't at lunchtime ) and it's still raining and more to come tomorrow.
    Devon.

    Hurrah Hosta!
Liri - what a total drag. How do they expect people to switch to public transport when it so regularly fails to deliver - literally.  :(
I've dodged showers and got some things done - mostly constructing a hog house in the hope they might choose my plot to overwinter. It was lovely when the sun came through, but only got to about 13 or 14. Almost back to single figures now. nice and calm though.
A little goldfinch appeared this morning on  the sunflower heart feeder. She disappeared then returned a few minutes later for another little feed. Went and got the camera in case she came back again, but of course, that was the kiss of death! Hope they'll come in again - I've only seen a couple now and again here.
Fish supper for me and youngest...

chicken jalfrezi for us tonight. I might try to squeeze a bit of GW, then Michael Palin, then the rest of GW before settling down to Killing Eve then beddy byes before coal face duties in the morning ( in the torrential rain it seems )
    Devon.

Mind your waterproofs then Hosta  ;)
I'm watching Beechgrove right now, didn't catch it on Thursday. I've got other things recorded too - Not seen Killing Eve yet, or G'sW. I've been watching Press, but I'm finding it a bit hackneyed - a lot of the dialogue seems very cliched and corny. I'll stick with it for another episode and see.

Evening. Been Aunty-ing this afternoon. Bright pink fairy cake anyone?
Rain has really topped up the pond and butts but I could do with tomorrow being fine to do a few jobs (it is not going to be).
Re Killing Eve - I have cheated a bit as the whole series is on iPlayer so I’ve seen 4 episodes already - enjoying.
Hope all is well with you guys.
