Moira has just read Advice on marriage @Dovefromabove. She agrees, but wishes she had read it before marrying me. Apparently I am many of the things listed.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-south-scotland-45562914 Looks like there will be a hot time in the old town tonight! I would guess I am not alone in failing to associate Langholm with exotic veg. We spent New Year near it many years ago - it was shut.
I love not being interrupted by adverts. Up with adblockers!
Sorry. Hello everyone!
Frustrating to have such an argumentative neighbour, Punkdoc. Hope Moira can sort him out for you... seriously, he might be more reasonable with a woman so it could be worth a try.
I gave an account of yesterday's abortive attempt to visit my Mum by train & bus yesterday, in the "Curmudgeon's Corner" thread. Suffice it to say that I never got there, thanks to train breakdowns and missed connections. Steam has stopped coming out of my ears, helped by the prospect of a flying visit to Ireland next Thursday - just for 3 days, but it'll be lovely.
It's good to see you popping in again, Wonky! Great that your job makes you happy, even if it keeps you extra busy. And have a super week off, Fairy! LilyP, hope the eye drops are working.
Someone mentioned GW. That tiny London garden was really impressive, IMO.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
I'm lost.
