    Yeah, I know what you mean about them looking weedy in the flower bed. Was thinking of planting them in groups of 3 or so... Think I'd rather let them bed in (so to speak) than leave them in pots for another winter, though...

  • Yes, I think that is good advice JanieB, they would look so much better in a small group, providing my husband doesn't put his size 9's on them.

    Just keep potting on when the roots fill the pots, put them out when you think they’ll survive,  you can grow them in pots forever if you want too.

  • I will keep nipping them for now, perhaps plant them out when they are bushier - I feel that they may get trodden on or lost in the flower bed at the moment, as they are just one twig with a few small leaves on them, I don't feel that they are showy enough to go into containers.

    I think that’s wise GD, I don’t put anything out until it’s a worthwhile size and can fend for itself.
