Just seen an item on BBC News - it's raining fish in Utah!

Apparently they're re-stocking the lake's fish population by flushing them out of the back end of a cargo plane.........

Oh good gosh, I’d like to see that!
I know what you mean about the seagulls Dove, my daughter lives on the Cornish coast and hates them, on dustbin day they have to put old bed sheets over all the rubbish, if not, well, you know what happens.  Apparently they are protected so there’s nothing can be done, she doesn’t take her children out on that day as they are vicious. (The seagulls not the children😀)

Hmm ... I know your grandchildren wouldn't do it @Lyn , but I've seen some children kicking seagulls :o ... then they complain when the seagulls pinch their ice creams and pasties.  Seems like just  desserts to me  ;)

My grandsons wouldn’t hurt any animal/bird, trouble with seagulls is that they will just swoop down and peck people on the heads, Karen is a child minder so has about 6 littlies to look after, she doesn’t  take them out on bin days for fear of an accident, they’re horrible birds really.

  • If you have any fishing friends? They could use them as dead bait recycling natures way.
