I took my cousin up One New Change, over looking St Pauls and we went by boat from there down to Greenwich. I'd love to go to the Inns of Court for a tour, but he is busy. I checked out hot air balloon but all the family is afraid of heights, it turns out. This would have been a gorg weekend for it.

It seems I am more excited by all the possibilities than him. Ho hum. I have learnt a lot from this thread and have a great list of special things to go and see. I am taking myself to the Canary Islands to go hiking in the mountains and view the gardens and explore the observatory as he is busy. :D When he's older I will give him the list of all the things we could have done if he fancied it.

Never mind..........he'll probably have lots of fun times with his new friends.  Enjoy the Canaries.
  • @Fire If you do the observatory at night the stars are just stunning.

I have a friend who has a villa on Tenerife and we often just take a ride up to Mt Teide and into the hills at night to see the stars.
