  • A sunny day - not a cloud in the sky, but the wind was fresh - I would almost say the wind was cold but after last winter - well I don't think we can compare or describe today's wind as cold.

Feels considerably colder today as we have dropped from 12 to 6 in a day. Staying around 4-7 all week by the looks.

Cold with a colder wind. The garden thermometer is struggling to reach 5°C but it feels like a lot less. The bird feeders are rapidly emptying too.

If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

Heavy cloud with a few sunny spells and occasional light showers, cold wind.
  • Cold, fairly strong easterly wind with sunshine this morning that made it bearable outside, cloudy and cold now so I sent OH out to feed the birds - well he has a thicker layer to keep him warm and is less likely to blow over in this wind than me.

It was chilly here all day, but sunny and dry. Good gardening weather if well wrapped up.
