I drive to Lincoln for work, 2 or 3 days a week (including today) so you're not that far away!. My office gets the morning sun and it's lovely just now (but do I want to brave the cold for a lunchtime walk? maybe not!)
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained
Been a beautiful sunny day cool start but no frost got to 14° around lunch time the wind has been increasing all day and is now quite blustery from a South Easterly direction. With a bit of luck most of the leaves will be down by the morning.
If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need.
Much harder frost this morning than the previous ones, white patches on the lawn as well as shed roof so no surprise when I got to Allotments to see the blackened foliage on the Dahlias & outdoor tomatoes. A lovely sunny day though, warmer than yesterday in the sun, and for once no wind. N London.
