    A lovely sunny day here - wind force 2 - 3, 16 degrees and beautiful - who needs to make a Paradise garden with weather like this. OH been swimming in the sea again.

    Low mawned (as my mother would say), bits shredded, seeds planted, kettle on, yay  :)

    What an absolutely gorgeous day, your OH will be fit as a butcher's dog GD - wish I could join him! Glowing a bit now, could do with a nice wash and a float about.

    Had fog at 8am but soon cleared. Cool start but warmed up in the afternoon with sunny intervals.

    Had a lovely sunset, getting distinctly chilly here now (Glos). Have told OH I would like cold frames assembled next week.

    AnniD , I have already put 2 pots in G/H and a clematis ball in a cold frame 
    G/H went to 1.9 the other night

    GWRS, l have what l call my "posh" cold frame, which is like a wooden planthouse right next to the back door. That has my salvia cuttings and any other precious things in, so that l can keep a close eye on them. All the other bits and pieces that l have accumulated go in the other frames up against the house wall. I think the lowest it has been here so far is 2.5 degrees, but it's supposed to get quite chilly at the end of next week.

    Morning all light cloud and light wind, had some fog but it's gone now. A bit cold.
