OMG ... no!   Not 'sensible' ... well, not 'very sensible' anyway ... but yes, they do have to be comfy ... can't stand having to 'adjust' or put up with discomfort.

One of the pleasures  when a woman reaches the age of invisibility, is that comfort becomes the priority.
most men dress for comfort most of the time so this doesn't apply - unless they have to be gussied up in a suit for work on a hot day -bless :)

Just wondering... Do we now have to blame the chilly temperatures for being curmudgeonly?

68 this week and not old enough for "sensible" knickers, they do have to be comfy mind, none of the cheese wires my youngerst daughter wears!
Can’t see the point in paying for a pair of knickers when half of it disappears up the b*m

A lady I know had difficulty dressing herself with a fractured wrist, and called her daughter to help with her knickers.  From the next room we overheard: "No wonder they're uncomfortable, you've inhaled them."
