Hosta's got a big garden with a lake ... we could have a  trial run ... the garden slopes downhill to the lake so launching wouldn't really be much of a problem ...

How would he feel about clearing a very large area in front of the lake do you think? Any chance he would sacrifice a few precious plants for the good of humanity - well GW forum card holders anyway.

There's no real ornamentals down by the lake ... just irises and water lilies ... that sort of thing ... it should be plain sailing ;)  ... and he's always saying he needs to get onto the islands to do a bit of scrub clearing ... he could go across on the ark ...

Yay! We have a Captain. Does any of the scrub resemble Leylandii? No, that would be too useful, I'm sure it will come in handy at some point.

No leylandii to speak of ... but he is thinning out an area of woodland ... aren’t you @Hostafan1 ? 😀

Well, once we get permission its full steam ahead (in a manner of speaking). Now however its time to get the watering can out again as the promised rain never arrived. What a surprise!

I suspect we might need a second ark for the wine.
