No worries Obelixx, when the ice caps melt it just floats - see, easy. We will need a jetty though and some very big ladders and someone to supervise the green roof area and raised beds on deck.

Herbi ... you do seem to have got it sussed ... you'd better be Project Manager ...

Just a thought ... we'd better hitch up a big iceberg for watering the raised beds ... can't be using seawater ...

Good thinking Dove! But maybe we should have a more egalitarian approach to the project, truth is I can barely manage my garden never mind an ark. We will need all hands on deck!

Is it possible I'm suffering from the heat do you think? No. I do like a challenge. Now where can I find some cypress.

Cypress/Cupressus .... loads of overgrown Leylandii  around ... we could get @Hostafan1 to persuade his lovely tree man to fell a few hedges ... there would be lots of very grateful neighbours  :)

Brilliant idea. I would certainly be one of those grateful neighbours and on the plus side  I know what Leylandii look like! I have been watching one grow too big for the last thirty years, nobody wants it including the tenant - HA too mean to fell it. Let's go.

Do you think the GW 2 for 1 card could be used ?  :D

Can't use t'interweb Fire, technology will be the first thing to go. I'm thinking pigeons and paper, I have a few left over from my altercation with a large telephony provider (or not) we can use those.

We will need someone with a HUGE garden though. All will be welcome Fire so maybe it will have to be like a rave, you get a message about where to go on the night. I'll give that some thought - perhaps over another glass of wine, or two.

Another brilliant idea Dove! OK everyone, make sure you have your card ready in the overnight bag. Now where did I put that glass of wine, dear me getting a bit forgetful now.
