Evening. After spending a large amount of time in the bedroom this week (and not in a good way), I think this Bank Hol weekend is going to be decorating time. I love picking paint colours... it’s the hilarious names for them that amuse me - there is “Mole’s breath” , “Arsenic” and “down pipe” in one collection?!?!
It certainly feels autumnal here Obelixx, warm and damp with cobwebs and blackberries and the swifts have disappeared ... although there’s no autumn colour on the trees yet thank goodness. Ive been sent to bed as I was asleep on the sofa Now I’m listening to news from Venezuela ... on the cookery forum we have a British friend who’s been living and running a catering business in Caracas for many years and he’s been telling us of the increasing difficulties and frustrations of recent years ... hope he and his wife and her family are ok.

Good morning all 🙂 anyone else awake? Hope you’ve all had a restful night. My bodyclock seems to have reverted to pre-retirement mode and I’m waking early ...

I’m awake now Dove, no work today thank god, yesterday was the day from hell at work, so chilling today and having lunch with the girls 😁, what are you up to today Dove?
I’m going to pop to the supermarket ASAP to pick up bread, milk and something for weekend meals then I’ll be home all day and OH will go to work ... I’ll spend some time in the studio 😀

Back from a lovely holiday in Ireland. You've been so chatty that I've only caught up with today's pages so far...
Would it be racist to find this Irish notice funny?
Somehow the 61 cents just makes it...

Have a great weekend all, whatever you up too.
Great sign, Liri. I needed a small chuckle this evening - thank you
