OMW ... they just played Champion the Wonder Horse on Radio 2 ... I burst into tears and turned into a seven year old girl full of excitement and longing .... I am now an emotional wreck.

Don't think I remember that one Dove and not going to look for it in case I get an ear worm.

I have just been to the doc's to pick up the kit for colon cancer testing - lovely - and popped into the wee SM for spring onions for a Thai curry and found they have the first of the new season's pink Roscoff onions.  Brilliant timing as I only have 4 of my home grown red onions left.

Love gauras.  Never grew them in Belgium as they wouldn't have liked my rich, damp soil but they do very well here in the sunny bed and over-wintered happily in there too.   I might just try taking some cuttings and also saving some seed as I have 3 different ones in that bed, a white which is tall and airy, a deep almost crimson pink that isn't as tall and airy and another with variegated deep red foliage that needs propping up and doesn't seem to think it needs to flower much.    Thinking of planting some near the veg patch to encourage pollinators.

Rogan josh in the oven for a long, slow cook as I used lamb shoulder and then it can sit and mature for tomorrow.   9 more pots of passata done and 2 of dried toms.  Having a  cuppa before I think about Thai prawn curry.

@Obelixx, are the "colon testing kit" and the "wee SM"  related to the same issue?

Hosta - you'll get that smacked bum thing Dove does if you're not careful.
Mind you - I think you enjoy it  :D
We get the home testing kit for bowel cancer here. Affectionately known as 'Pooh sticks' in my house.  :)

OH has already done one but I didn't bother last time.  This time the letter said if we didn't accept this "invitation" we wouldn't get any more so I thought I better had.   Need to make an appointment for boob squishing too.
