I'd been married three weeks and we were living in a caravan while doing a derelict pub up to live in, and halfway through roasting the (quite small) turkey on Christmas morning the gas ran out ...........

My new husband had told me there was loads left in the bottle so he'd not ordered a spare ...........  it didn't bode well for the future lol

@Obelixx the bottles are swapped when you pick up a full one, you leave an empty behind so they have to be the same size. I'll go and fetch another next weeks sometime which should see us through winter.

They don’t have to be exchanged for the same size Hostafan, once you have purchased a cylinder you can have what you like,  you only rent the cylinder, when you take it back, if you have kept the receipt you get your money back.  All cylinders cost the same, it’s the gas inside that varies.

Don’t bother Hosta, I have several here and no where to put them. I’ll bring you a couple more.
They're so easy from seeds and mine are already all blooming in the first year, as I expect yours are.(is?)
I’ve never taken cuttings, not worth it really.

Those you gave me are flowering magnificently but I've bought more, different colours. I'll let some set seed.
