Call me weird, but I sigh with pleasure the first time I use my own toilet after being away from home for any length of time.

I just glanced out of the window, and saw a crowd of young swallows trying to bathe and drink from the pond with a bunch of moving ducks. Watching them trying to hit open water was like a real life computer game  - just lovely to see :D

Besides all of the above already mentioned, seeing a loved ones beaming smile when they're really happy, especially your children when they've achieved something they've been striving to do and the pride and joy is written all over their face.

That reminds me of the first time my nephew managed to tie his own shoe laces,  he was 13 years old and is mentally challenged.  He was so proud he told everyone he met.

This brings back memories. We had a study trip to Amsterdam for a week in university (an actual study trip). There were 6 of us sharing a dorm and bathroom in a youth hostel. At the end of the week one of the boys almost broke down in tears because he missed his own toilet so much :D

    Finding silence.
    Making the baby laugh.
Plants growing well and a garden full of bees.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

I've never missed my toilet, but my brothers used to ;)
I do miss my own bed though. First time back in it  a wiggle of pleasure and a starfish - bliss!
    In London. Keen but lazy.

I can sleep on a clothes line, happiest peeing in a field, but I really miss silence and solitude. Naturey silence is good too. I think I was probably born to live in a tent in a wood somewhere. I miss living in a tent.

That first day of the year when you feel the tingle of the coming Spring.   Not Spring itself but the promise of it, all around you.

A blue sky on a cold Winter's day.

    Finding a plant I know I didn't plant and it's beautiful.

Finishing the digging.   Not the actual digging but the feeling you get when you've finished.
    I wish I was a glow worm
    A glow worm's never glum
Cos how can you be grumpy
When the sun shines out your bum!
