It's rubbish when you have to empty an established pot. It's like that bare look you get when xmas decs come down.

The in-laws brought up the subject of xmas dinner today. It's August FFS! :|

I can understand if they need to book flights to get there but otherwise way too soon and too hot.   OH has just asked if we want to do anything but it's coolest in the house so hibernating for another couple of days.   Roll on Thursday - assuming the forecast is correct and things cool down.

A lorry is being very noisy outside in the street. It's hard to be too annoyed though as he's just delivered the noisy boy racer neighbour's car which seems to have been in an accident. I hope nobody else was hurt but I'm certainly looking forward to a few nights of peace o:)

Maybe it will have taught noisy boy racer a thing or two @wild edges. We have one of those living round the corner. He has an exhaust that sounds like a fart in a bucket, but he thinks he is so cool... B)

I just want the world to know - I am fed up with being stuck indoors, watching the garden go brown, not getting any of the more physical jobs done (like compost for example), feeling sick and tired all day until sunset when I wish I could floodlight the garden and at least do a bit of weeding - grrrr

OK, that feels a bit better now, sorry to interrupt please carry on.

Why is it that in this hot weather our massive crop of courgettes all need something doing to them that involves standing by a hot stove and stirring ...  :/
