If we're arguing about garlic bread, does that mean things are going pretty well, in general?

Been out of the loop for over a week and far too many posts to read back but I had started to worry you lot were losing the plot.  Glad to see normal service has resumed.

I make my own garlic bread cos they don't sell wholemeal or multi-cereal ready made.  Why?

What is this 'plot' of which you speak?

Shhh! The plot is intricately woven into the threads of nonsense.

The one I had last night was one of those Italian chewbacca loaves.

Losing plot?  Not being curmudgeonly of course.

ciabatta can be very good and also very bad if it's not the real thing.

I saw Paul Hollywood making a Fougasse on TV so got excited when I saw a baker's shop advertising them for sale in the Marais Poitevin.   8€!! for a fancy shaped flat bread!  I don't think so.

  • I'm feeling proper curmudgeonly.   The dog kept me up most of the night being sick.

He's now crashed out on the sofa and I feel like biting someone.

I'm sure I saw a werewolf movie that started this way.

  • I wouldn't be at all surprised.  I'm staying indoors today so I'm not tempted to rip off the head of some poor soul who politely asks me something.

I'm not good on no sleep.   Especially when the cause of it is gently snoring.
