It’s probably cost the manufacturer a lot of money to make that hole bigger, expect a rise in price soon.
Is  it just me or is anyone else sick of getting chucked off the site due to huge photos?
Have to wait for it to re load, I don’t think I’ll bother to look at any plant id threads anymore. Wildlife and gallery are completely out.

It's not just you Lyn. Stopped clicking on photo heavy threads ages ago. I thought the size limit had been put back to 2 whatsits, same as it was before the update? Still crashes and I'm not exactly in a slow broadband area (have super fast fibre, whatever that means).
It must be my device 😕, that works fine everywhere else and streams Netflix without a single glitch 😉.

    It's me too!
The site just isn't as much fun any more, I keep having to wait even for smallish photos, and then there's those threads that you click on and find there's a whole load of  unsuspected pics lying in ambush.
I stay for the company though, and the laughs :)

All the photos are the same size for me :/
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

A 1mb default limit on photo size would def'ly make things easier to load for all.

My PC doesn't crash but the internet here is so slow I can go and get a cuppa and throw a ball for the dogs while they load so I tend not to bother.  Don't bother with gallery threads anymore.   Pity as there are often some great pics.   I do always re-size my own pics to post but even that takes time.

The grapevine is enjoying the heat.  The grass and pond, not so much.  The white line above the water is dried blanket weed from just 3 days ago.

It's so sad that so many old time regulars can't use the site.
