Bees are loving the Veronicas,  they are still blooming,   Rudbeckia, Echinops,  buddlias,  Gailardia,  lavender, fuchsias, Penstemon, Hecheura,  a lot of flowers quickly set seeds because of the sun scorch.
I’m hoping for late Aconitum which is really a bee magnet.

I can confirm that veronicas and penstemon are not happy with dry shade. :/  But you all knew that. 🙄

English lavender, verbena, Liatris spicata, Salvias,  Gauras, Helianthus lemon queen hasn't flowered yet.. All like a magnet for them. Been very busy bees this year. Feel like I've done my part

Still loving the salvias, toadflax,  bugloss and lavenders, now going for the penstemons and oregano, but not yet on the mint.
We had all buff tailed bees in early summer, there are more species now, but hardly any bumble bees for some reason.
The honey bees seem to be attracted by one of my bikini tops, and get right under my chin before they realise.. 😄

My Joe Pye weed is just starting to flower now, oddly. The garden is pretty quiet but the dahlias are offering a fair bit.

Unsurprisingly, the sunflowers (that appeared in my veg beds!) are proving to be a firm favourite, with the added bonus of watching the goldfinches enjoying the seeds. I admit to leaving the flowers to do their own thing this year but next year any seedlings will be moved but close enough for me to still enjoy the visitors.  :)

I am in the throes of planting a long border and also have numerous plants in pots, always trying to ensure there is plenty for the bees, butterflies etc. to enjoy.
